Personel was very kind and helpful. Everything was clean. Apartments are located in heart of Tatras mountains so to reach any location by car takes maximum 30 minutes. We had very pleasant stay.

Penzion Za vodou is located in Liptovský Ján, just 200 metres from the Thermal Paradise Liptovsky Jan Thermal Spa. Free WiFi access is available.

A very nice and comfortable place with newly renovated rooms - the room looked exactly as it was in the pictures. We went for the skiing trip (Chopok) and the ski storage was available - just ask the host for this possibility. The apartments are located close to the general store and skibus leaves from the same place (although once a day, in the morning).

there's nothing i dont like this place, it is very nice. the kitchen is well equipped, and everywhere is clean! the host is very friendly. the location is great! if i ever go here again, i would stay here again for sure

Lovely bed & breakfast style accommodation with the warmest hosts. We could check in a bit early and got lots of recommendations on what to do in the area. Loved the homemade, in-apartment breakfast each morning and the ample outdoor space with free use of basketballs, jacuzzi, etc. Wifi was solid & stable enough for working in the evening (around 15-30 mbps) and didn't drop. Fully equipped apartment, very "homey", and great balcony. Bonus was the many friendly dogs the owner's had running around in the morning. Great way to wake up!

Penzion Maco, allotjament vacacional a Liptovský Ján

Surrounded by the Low Tatras National Park, 800 metres from the Liptovsky Jan Ski Resort, Penzion Maco offers a hot tub and a sauna.

I stayed for 7 nights, and was on a fishing trip. Liptovsky Jan is a very pleasant village in a lovely location. Penzion Maco is very close to the village centre. Nina and Ladislav were extremely friendly, flexible, and kind, and I felt like an old friend rather than a paying guest. I had breakfast, a picnic lunch (filled roll, fruit, water), and dinner every day. All meals were very good and plentiful. My room and all other facilities were very clean. Considering that I had full board, plus a couple of beers each night, I was amazed at how reasonably priced Penzion Maco was (I can't judge how it compared with other accommodation in Slovakia). I should mention that I was bitten by a tick (NOT at Penzion Maco) on one of my fishing trips. I was a bit worried about this, and I explained the problem to Nina and Ladislav when I arrived back at the Penzion in the evening. They did a bit of phoning around, and very quickly Nina took me in her car to the Emergency department at the hospital in nearby Liptovsky Mikulas, even though I had a car of my own. She stayed with me (about 1 hour) while I waited to be seen, and brought me back to the Penzion after the tick had been removed.

Fabulous spot for sport and relaxation. Sauna center is one of the highlights, but not the only one! Very good selection, fresh and delicious pastry and fruit selection for breakfast. Most certainly a place for indulgence and recharging batteries.

    Vynikající volba:-D. Skvělá lokalita, čistý, perfektně vybavený apartmán. Nic nám nechybělo. Perfektní domluva, paní byla po celou dobu našeho pobytu na telefonu, dala nám dobré tipy na výlety. Určitě doporučujeme.
