We recently had the pleasure of staying at Antonia Spa 180 Panoramic View, a charming retreat nestled in the heart of the breathtaking Transalpina mountains, for a night. Our experience was nothing short of exceptional, with the property itself and the warm hospitality of the husband and wife caretakers leaving a lasting impression. From the moment we arrived, the caretakers greeted us with genuine warmth, making us feel like cherished guests. Their attentiveness and dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay were truly commendable. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, providing valuable recommendations and personalized touches that added a sense of familiarity and warmth to our experience. Antonia Spa 180 Panoramic View's amenities were equally impressive. The hot tub and sauna provided a blissful retreat after a long day of exploring the scenic wonders of Transalpina. We were captivated by the incredible views of the majestic mountains, which were nothing short of awe-inspiring. Each morning, we were greeted by a mesmerizing sunrise, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, creating a truly magical atmosphere. The property itself exuded an inviting ambiance, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the tastefully decorated rooms to the cozy common areas. It felt like a home away from home, offering a peaceful sanctuary amidst the natural beauty that surrounded us. Review stars cannot express how amazing we felt at Cabana Terra Rânca. Our apartment, on the third floor had vaulted ceilings, large windows, with large beds and sheets immaculately clean and pressed. We did not expect the elegant bathroom with an extra large fancy shower in a cabin at the top of a mountain but there it was. The balcony, had a coffee table and wick chairs and gave us a way to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Parâng Mountains in the morning with a coffee in had. Cabana Terra Rânca has an exquisite and unexpectedly (again) refined restaurant where the food is not only amazing but plated in beautiful arrangements that begged for an Instagram photo. The house wine and house afinata are one-of-a-kind. Every dish they serve is carefully selected and prepared. You can tell the amazing care and attention to detail that the entire staff puts into everything they do. It was truly amazing and refreshing to witness the staff’s warmth, welcoming, positive attitude and the pride they clearly show and demonstrate through their service. So is their attention to details and awareness. We travelled with senior folks and before we had to say anything after walking in the door they suggested that the planned 3rd floor second room we had booked adjacent to ours might not be a good fit for my parents despite the position and the view; it would have been very hard for them, being 80+, to climb the stairs to the third floor. The staff changed their room to a 1st floor, brought more chairs to the room and even lend them house shoes to make them more comfortable. It was really impressive to see the level of care they have shown. This continued for the rest of our stay with everything making us feel truly at home. The resort itself, Rânca is on top of the Parâng mountains with a view that is unique in the world; the Transalpina highway is a man-made wonder in the middle of a nature wonder and felt magical. We only wish we had more time to explore. 🤩🏔️❤️

Location, location, location… at the beginning of transalpina highway, the highest cabana, overlooking the valleys, ski hill, close to wonderful trails circling between peaks above 2000m and the clouds. The owner was very helpful. He knows the mountains very well and gave us great recommendations for trails, restaurants and sightseeing!

We stayed 1 night. We didn't use the kitchen, terrase, or garden, but it looked like they were nice and well equipped. The room was clean and had a nice view. The bed was comfortable. The host was very nice. Coffee was good.

Exceptional service and fantastic view. One of the most professional and welcoming hosts, who pays attention to clients needs and asissts you with lots of useful information about the area. I particularly enjoyed the view from the windows and we slept super comfortable (good mattress and cosy room).The rooms are clean, large and in reality they look better then in the pictures. We intend to visit again in the summer as there is so much to discover in the area.
