We had three refreshing days here, with cooler weather, in a nicely arranged hostel. Our room B had large windows with a view of the mountain, good storage wardrobe, and desk and chair. Bed was comfortable and we didn’t hear noise from other rooms. Common kitchen had fridge, stove, electric kettle, microwave and toaster as well as basic cookware and tableware. Dining table and couch for relaxing. Delighted to have a washing machine and ample clothes lines for drying. Easy to go to city center or botanic garden by flagging a bus passing by on the main road. Yama was a kind and helpful host. You can take the elevator to/from the ground floor by going through the dental clinic.

Kushana and his wife did everything to make us feel comfortable, and to help us with our trip, suggested us attractions, drove us to the city, and even made adaptations for the food (not spicy). They make exceptional food, and a great variety of options for dinner. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Their dedication to customer satisfaction truly set this hotel apart. The dinning at this hotel was excellent. Very tasteful breakfast and dinner. Additionally, the villa Rosa is located on the hill. There is breathtaking view, which you can admire from the terrace or pool. I highly recommend for everyone staying at villa Rosa.

First of all, it's a whole floor for you in a small house, so you a completely alone and will not meet anybody on your territory :) something I wasn't expecting for such a low price actually Secondly, the renovation/decoration is amazing. White walls and floor, clean and spaceful bathroom. Again, it was completely unexpected 😅 Landlady even offered me traffic-coupons for my SIM-card due to Wi-Fi wasn't working!

It suited me well as it is not far from the start of the Pekoe Trail and it has an excellent view of Hanthana Mountain to enjoy while relaxing. The family who run the guesthouse are very kind and made sure I was comfortable. I was looked after very well with tea offered when I arrived and the best dinner I have had in Sri Lanka of home-cooked rice and many different delicious curries. The room was spacious, clean and also had a good view. Overall, I am very happy.
