Estia Hydra was a perfect place for us; a nice and cosy accomodation close to the seafront. We enjoyed our breakfast at the balcony enjoying the view over the city and harbour. So much love and caring from the hosts Grigoris and Tatiana made us feel at home. The apartment is small but well equipped and practical (if you are able to walk the stairs to the top floor). We recommend it to couples or singles who want to be close to the pulse of Hydra city.

The view was really beautiful. The room looks great and the bed is really comfy. The staff is really helpful, as we had to stay one more day because we were blocked on the island (no boats were leaving because of the wind). They also came to pick us up from the port to guide us to the room. It was really perfect.

The villa had everything you needed, was very private, and located a few miles out of the main town. Trevor and his team were exemplary. An easy boat trip or walk. The local taverna served excellent food, and several other restaurants within walking distance, all good. Hydra town is brilliant for a day wandering around the shops, traditional food, history, and losing time watching the boats come in and out of the harbour.

It was directly above Mandraki Beach and as guests of the villa, there was no charge for the sun loungers. The decks provided excellent views of the water. Spiros was a fabulous host. He met us at Hydra port and escorted us by water taxi to the villa. He provided recommendations for activities, shopping and restaurants. We also really enjoyed Leftaris Taverna that was adjacent to the villa!

It is not a normal holiday home but somebodies home filled with personal items and lovely paintings made by the owner. Which gave it a personal touch The fridge was filled with drinks, fruit and all sort of snacks which was so nice and thoughtful. It has a balcony at the front and a patio to sit at the back.
