The design is beautiful and the place was quiet and peaceful. The pool and garden area were really nice and the design and styling were modern and sophisticated. Everything was really great. House on Olof Palme is as beautiful a guesthouse as you will find in Windhoek. Clean and well maintained, in a safe area, well run, pool, comfy rooms. Mostly a business crowd and regulars, which speaks for the experience. But what makes the place special is the hosts. They know when to chat and make one feel welcome, and when to stay in the background to let guests enjoy their stay. Their staff are well trained and always cheerful. Renette's restaurant recommendations were top notch - not a bad meal while we stayed in town. When we left for our inland trip they even provided us with a well-stocked ice box. We are not normally making aquaintances on vacation. But with these two? One simply wants to stay in touch. Thank you both for your warm hospitality! Until we meet again.

Featuring an outdoor plunge pool with sun loungers and a garden, Olive Grove Guesthouse is located a 5-minute drive from the city centre of Windhoek. Free WiFi is available in public areas. There were really nice little touches in the room that made it feel very personal; very quiet and restful; high quality fresh and well prepared food; wide range of available drinks; staff were always available; was never asked for my room number because the staff made sure they already knew; the perfect place to stay before and after a Namibian safari. Of particular note, the staff were absolutely terrific, always smiling, friendly, helpful and willing to put in the extra effort to ensure a memorable stay. There was no obvious pecking order of seniority or demarcation of roles which ensured a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. I would certainly be pleased to stay here again and I can highly recommend Olive Grove to anyone who needs or wants to stay in Windhoek.
