Located in Bowness-on-Windermere in the Cumbria region, The White House is a 5-star property featuring free WiFi. Beautiful property. Easy to find. Close to shops and restaurants. Clean . A lot of effort has gone into this property and it shows. We stayed in room 12. Absolutely beautiful. We are staying here again this weekend.

Our stay at Glencree absolutely exceeded our expectations! The room was gorgeous, very modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious, with a selection of cereals to choose from, fresh fruit and breakfast cooked to order. Great location, and lots of parking in the church across the road if the guest spots are taken. Would highly recommend Glencree to anyone looking for a stay in Windermere.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. The staff managing the check-in and the breakfast was outstanding - warm, efficient and thoughtful. Breakfast was tasty, warm and filling and had good options. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was large and spacious. Good strong shower and sufficient supply of hot water. The room was bright and clean.

Il Westbourne è una splendida struttura situata nella tranquilla zona sotto Biskey Howe, nel Lake District. It was really clean, and very cute!

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. 10 minutes walk from the lake, very cosy lounge where you can drink wine, relax and discuss your daily experience. Very quite area and hotel. I have slept much better than in busy London. Hosts prepared wonderful breakfast that was dreaming about the whole day!

Situata a soli 1,6 km dal Lago Windermere, questa splendida residenza vittoriana sorge in una posizione tranquilla tra Windermere e Bowness. Wonderfully quirky little B and B. A very comfortable room with enough bedroom space. Loved the claw bath, this was in the bedroom, I loved this but some may not. The staff were friendly and welcoming. This little place was the perfect walking distance to Bowness for restaurants and Windermere for shopping.

Craig Walk Suite is set in Bowness-on-Windermere, 38 km from Derwentwater, 43 km from Askham Hall, as well as 50 km from Trough of Bowland. Large room with kitchen. Loved having cold water in the fridge as well as welcome cookies, coffee and teas.
