Chez Coco is a beautiful traditional Alsatian house built in 1570 affording modern facilities and comfort. It is spotlessly clean. It is perfectly located in the old town of Riquewirh. There is a public carpark a couple of minutes away from the property. Cars are not allowed in the old town. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Thierry and Agnes were absolutely delightful. Their hospitality made us feel very welcome and the local tips provided made our trip very special. Breakfast was superb, very authentic Alsace and a perfect start of the day. Bicycles available to cycle around the area (and taste some wine :))

The room is very new, and the host has renovated the old house very elegantly. It's full of modern element while maintaining the rustic simplicity of the village style. Breakfast was rich and delicious. Definitely recommended to everyone.

If you want to experience staying in a beautiful authentic small Alsace village, this is it! What is even better is that you get the authentic atmosphere but amazing water pressure! You arrive into a small courtyard and climb a beautiful rose stone spiral staircase before entering the timber framed B&B on the third floor. You will have breakfast on the fourth floor. If the weather is warm, you will be treated to breakfast on the small terrace over looking Riquewihr. I think it may be the only terrace in the old town above the first floor. The rooms are appropriate for the setting. You are staying in a room that was designed and built in roughly 1530. We stayed in the larger room which had 3 beds ,even though we were only two. This gave us some extra space. Christiphe is a wonderful host that bends over backwards to make sure you enjoy your stay. He helped us to navigate and find free parking. Homes in the 1500s were not built for cars. He also had wonderful recommendations for dinner.

The location was very convenient to the village restaurants so I could easily walk there and not worry about drinking and driving. The owner was very helpful when I asked some sight-seeing questions. Good directions to helping me find gas for the car too. I loved finding bottled water in the room upon arrival.

This special hotel will always be one of my favorite memories from our trip. It is one of the oldest and most historical places I have stayed at. Our host Thibault treated us with so much care and kindness, we will go back again. Especially as his information about everything, that we asked, was very entertaining. It is a hotel that has been in the family for many generations and is currently run by Thibault’s Grandmother, Mireille and her sister. Doudou was extremely helpful and a pleasure to meet also. This place has so much unique ambiance and it is right in the center of Riquewihr. Be sure to have their excellent breakfast in the centuries old wine cave. An experience you can never forget!
