Flatheim adalah penginapan pertanian yang menawan yang terletak di Lembah Viksdalen. It was a surprising place. As a Heritage house, it mixes the old wooden houses style, with modern facilities as the bathroom. For the kids it was a really new and fun experience. The location if great, an "oasis" in the middle of the norwegian mountains. The owner was very helpful: as we got late for dinner or restaurants nearby, he explained where we could buy some goods, and let us use by our the kitchen and diningroom.

Highly recommended to stay at Perlen på solheim/Hyen. You will get fully equipped very clean house for maximum 6 persons that is located in wonderful place close to the lake! I'd say that it was our best experience in Norway during our 2 weeks vacation. Host was very kind and instructions were clear. It is not mentioned in profile but you will also get wi-fi, even Netflix if the weather is not good outside - we made a bbq and watched the movie once the weather changed :-)

The apartment was lovely with everything we needed for a two night stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. the view from the apartment was exactly like the pictures and looked out over the fjord. The one bad thing was the stairs for older people. It is much steeper than in the pictures and has NO railing which made it dangerous for my husband with large feet and who walks with a cane. It would not be a problem for the more athletic. The parking was very close. We would highly recommend.

A superb place to discover Norway, with all facilities in the house, a free access to the canoë below to enjoy the beautiful Hornindal lake and a nice barbecue patio. This house has a lot of charm, without direct neighborhood and is very peaceful. And the host is very sympathic. The perfect place to enjoy the beautiful nature of Norway all around (mountains, glaciers, lakes, waterfalls)
