The apartment is perfect for couples or families. It is very clean, spacious, and comfortable. It is carefully renovated with a lot of care for Japanese traditional houses. The futons were very comfortable and the breakfast with delicious bred and juice was just perfect. The village itself is definitely worth a visit. It is very relaxed and still offers everything you need. Supermarket, restaurant and especially a great beach just in front and beautiful nature. We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt like being at home. We definitely recommend to book dinner if possible. Food is amazing here.

Great location -- overlooking a little harbor in a small fishing town. We were there in the winter, but had good luck with sunny weather and enjoyed exploring the village. We chanced on the annual Shimenawa ceremony at the Anori-jinga shrine, which brought many of residents of the town together. The house itself is very comfortable, with an open living room and a nice upstairs sleeping space with comfy futons. Fabulous deep tub, with a view. It felt wonderful to have a whole cabin to ourselves. We had a hard time finding the address, but the hosts (although not on site) were extremely quick to help us via Booking messages.

The staff were very kind and knowledgeable. I wanted to go to the Yokohama Observatory (which is expensive and hard to reach by public transpo), but they offered a shuttle ride to a train station, and also told me about Shima City tourism’s taxi promo. Very helpful! Other than that, the room was bigger than expected. It had a small Japanese garden, which was a good touch. They also had a lot of fun facilities in the lobby.

We had a traditional Japanese room with a private bathroom that faced the ocean. The view was absolutely stunning and was incredible. The mineral foot spa was nice after a long day.

We had a very spacious room with a beautiful ocean view. We especially enjoyed the complimentary beverage service. The staff was very helpful. Food was very good, but did not offer much in variety if staying multiple days. It's a little out of the way, but there is shuttle service available to Toba Station if you wish to venture off and do some sightseeing. Just be sure to leave and return between the shuttle service hours.
