Great location! Also we stayed at the apartment but we still had access for both hotel pools. Pool that is located on the second floor had an amazing view over the ocean. Breakfast had a very large selection, many different foods, including local dishes.

Great clean, comfortable apartments across from the Tembo hotel; we liked being independent but with the use of the hotel facilities. Super location with friendly, helpful staff. Arranged a walking tour of Stonetown (the guide was called Chief - he was brilliant!) and a spice farm visit via reception - they were both excellent; really good value and both with a private guide.

The location is great, close to everything The owner is very nice and made us check in few minutes before the check in time The room is clean and huge, each one of us had his own big bed I even forgot my jacket in the hôtel and went to other places in tanzania and went back and took it

The guest house is located perfectly, walking distance to many restaurants, the beach and the market at night. We booked the room with AC which was necessary for us since it was insanely hot outside during our stay. We liked the openness of the house and it felt very friendly. The host sends you instructions on how to find the house before you arrive which was very useful. There is a bakery right in front of the house that's good for breakfast! Close enough to the airport too! The wifi is good. The balcony is picturesque. There is a kitchenette for making your own food if you want. There is a restaurant close by called Lazuli Cafe that you have to go to! Try their customizable fresh juices (smoothies, really) and my favorite, Passion Vanilla Shake, it's amazing!!!
