I wanted somewhere in PR that wasn’t super touristy. This was perfect! The hospitality from the moment we arrived was oustanding! I met some really great people and ate great food! Beach was 10 mins from the hotel! Lots of little bars and restaurants around! I couldnt have asked for more! I had a great stay overall!!

Jos kaipaat lomalla muutakin kuin rannalla makaamista, kannattaa majoittua tai ainakin käydä useamman kerran San Juanin vanhassa kaupungissa. Sieltä löytyy mm. paljon ravintoloita, kahviloita, putiikkeja, teatteri (kävimme katsomassa musikaalin, liput 20$/kpl), vanhoja linnoituksia sekä yleinen hiekkaranta palmuineen aivan vanhan kaupungin laidalta, kaikki kävelymatkan päässä toisistaan. Erityismaininta kolmelle ravintolalle: vaaleanpunainen La Casita satamassa; hyvää pikkuruokaa ja drinkkejä, La Lanterna (Calle de Cristo); hyvää italialaista ruokaa ja erinomainen palvelu sekä La Madre (Calle de San Francisco); herkullista meksikolaista ruokaa. Meidät yllätti: korkea hintataso kaikessa. Ärsytti: harvoissa tuotteissa on hintoja näkyvillä ja tarvitset QR-koodinlukijan voidaksesi lukea ruokalistat lähes joka ravintolassa.
