It was an excellent hotel to stay in close to the airport, which is what we wanted. We arrived from Managua very late/early morning and it only took us a few minutes to drive there from the airport. There was a man there late, so you can check-in late and he was very very friendly and helpful. He actually made the stay very good for us. He took his time with us, made the payment with him quick and easy. Furthermore, he explained everything we needed to know about the next morning and gave us instructions to help us get to our next place. Also, he allowed us to put some of our food in the staff fridge so we can keep it preserved. In terms of the room, it was actually much better than we expected, especially for the price. The room was very big, had a lot of space to store and hang your clothes. It had a small tv, which worked fine, a desk and a very spacious bed. The air con worked perfectly and the room was nice and cool. The bathroom was also very good, decent shower pressure, clean and a normal sink to use. There was no noise at this hotel so you could get a nice sleep (however, we did wake up very early to go to our next place, so not sure how it would be a bit later on). I would definitely stay here again for my next stay near the airport.

Featuring free WiFi, Airport X Managua offers pet-friendly accommodation in Managua, 35 km from Granada. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Owner/manager was dealing with a difficult situation beyond his control that caused our check-in to be delayed. He did so very kindly, offering the kids free drinks and treats to feed the monkey(!) while he worked on the room situation. In the end he was able to get us a suitable room and waived the charge due to the hassle. The place was basic but just what we needed, and the owner/manager merits an extra star himself!
