Offering 13 restaurants, cafes and bars and a 24-hour front desk, Kobe Portopia Hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Shimin Hiroba Station on the Port Island Line. The room was very spacious and had a really nice view. The location was very convenient for me, as it was close to place that I was going to visit, but for the general public I would say there is not much around. However, the tram station is just a couple of blocks away and connects the hotel with the city centre and the airport very efficiently.

The floor manager was super helpful in running out in the rain to get us a taxi cab to the train station. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.
