NEW HUMBER offers accommodations in Yubetsu, 17 miles from Okhotsk Tokkari Center and 17 miles from Okhotsk Tower. This guest house features a bar. At first we were a bit worried about booking this place due to the lack of reviews. We chose this location as it helped to break up our journey up to Wakkanai from eastern Hokkaido. It's at the junction for easy access to Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park. Rooms are above the bar. Simple but very functional. Free parking is available just behind the building. The staff are very warm and welcoming- we thought the kitchen was closed but they offered us freshly cooked scallops at a real bargain. Do bear in mind it's not a full fledged hotel so do not expect the full works. Avoid if you 1. are going to check in at very odd hours and will have problems contacting them for assistance (they are responsive over booking.com so if this is the case and you don't have a local phone number, you should be able to work something out with them beforehand) 2. despise carrying your luggage up a flight of stairs 3. can't stand small, quiet towns. We had to drive 10 min away for dinner as the nearest restaurant was closed due to the Golden Week holidays. Otherwise, it's a good, simple, fuss-free stay.

Amazing location, property, amenities, and staff. It’s absolutely perfect, clean, comfortable, with great onsen, sauna, plentiful options breakfast, 24hs coffee and so well designed everywhere on premises. Store in property great, many things to do around and quite serene. Would stay again on a heartbeat and whirl like to return in the winter. Thank you

28 miles from Azumamachi Hall, the farm stay provides free bikes and a garden. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and private check-in and check-out for guests. Everything, the entire house is family friendly and the level of attention to detail is spectacular- from the look and feel (sheets, design, furniture) to the cleanliness (spotless!) To the functionality - everything you need down to the amount of spoons, paper cups for washing your teeth, TV and AC in every room, panoramic view of the fields, games and toys for the children - everything was clean and working with no missing pieces!! it is better equipped and designed than my own home! In addition, the hostess Yoko is very attentive and responsive - whatever we needed she helped, whether it's providing us with bicycles even from the neighbors, or fresh milk from the dairy farm. She is also a wonderful cook and we had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and every day Yoko would cook different meals and serve them fresh, and every bite was an absolute delight. Would definitely stay again.

Featuring a garden, Tarochan House offers accommodations in Engaru. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. We were very lucky to secure such a great place for our trip! The only downside from our experience was that we only booked for one night. I wish we could have stayed longer. The ambiance of the place was simply astonishing. At night the stars are visible. In the morning, you have a perfect view of the mountains. The facilities inside are clean and modern, despite the traditional look of the house. Yuki-san and Honda-san were extremely kind and accommodating. They made us feel right at home. Our check-out time was a bit earlier than the earliest train, so they let us hang out with their dogs and horses in the farm. They even volunteered to pick us up and drop us off at the station! The place was definitely a pleasant surprise and a hidden gem.
