The apartment is located in a very convenient place accessible to everywhere in Nuuk. It also has a lovely view and it was peaceful and quiet. Everything was provided to enable a comfortable stay. I really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it. My hosts were very helpful and friendly and I did not need to have much contact with them. There is a small supermarket about 10 mins walk away. The centre of Nuuk is about a 30 minute walk and there is a bus stop in the road to take you to the centre. The apartment is halfway between the centre and the aiport.

It was an amazing staying at the Aurora glass hut. We had a 360 view of the ocean. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights, but our flight got cancelled. Gerth was very accommodating and modified our reservation, the next day we had to leave early so he had sent over a breakfast, and then helped us get to our next location. We really enjoyed the location and Gerth and Mallu’s hospitality!!

This is probably the most beautiful place I’ve stayed at while on vacation! The view is unbelievable and the staff was super warm and friendly. The cabins are very well equipped and we would enjoy our little breakfast and tea every morning :)

The reception lounge is extensive, with computer screens providing information on the latest flights situation in and out of the airport. The receptionists were always efficient, friendly and helpful. The two lifts ( elevators ) provide access to the many accommodation rooms and to the restaurant and bar on the fifth floor, where pleasing views may be had over the town. A ´full English´breakfast supplements the extensive buffet breakfast in the mornings and later in the day, and especially for dining in the evening, there is a choice of meals, particularly focusing on a variety of steaks, served by a number of dedicated waiters and waitresses. The bar nearby is extensive with large satellite screens. I visited in summer but I could imagine that the hotel were a warm, sturdy shelter in the midst of the winter storms.
