Great location, parking on site. Everything is standard. There was an opportunity to decide in the morning if we want to have breakfast. And also they serve lunch. The breakfast was both delicious and diverse.

The room was very dusty when I checked in. There were bird feathers on the ground. The curtains and the carpet looked as though they haven't been cleaned for a very long time. Dust in the room gave me a hard time. I think they need more cleaning personnel for a better service. The elevators were efficient but they were like from the early 80s or something like that. Everything looked pretty much raggedy and old in terms of architecture and interior design. It made me feel as if I travelled back in time to 1970s or something. The friendly behavior of the staff compensated for the hotel's shortcomings...

The staff was friendly and helpful. Personnel at the reception was attentive. The restaurant was good enough. The buffet had a lot of things to offer to a hungry guest.

Take it for what it is - an old Interhotel from the communist days without much modernisation. During the old days it was "the place to be" in Žilina for businessmen and travel groups from "friendly countries" and it actually got a prize for its architecture and design when it was new...but there hasn't been much renovation, so it is rather worn-down and old fashioned (i.e. the windows have not been changed and the lifts/elevators are still 1970s style). But the location is very good next to the Aupark shopping center (where there used to be a square; in the old days it was Lenin square, then Ľudovít Štúr square before the shopping center was built there) and close to the city center. It is just a few minutes trolleybus ride from the hotel to the railway and bus stations, too, and you can buy your travel ticket in the yellow machine at the bus stop for 0,90 €. So don't expect luxury and modern-western-hotel design, but considering the low room rates and good location, this place is still a gem! I hope they won't close it but instead do a little well-needed renovation and keep it as a budget-friendly city hotel. Let's support them by staying here when in Žilina!!

In the description of the room it was stated that there was no space for a cot for a baby, although in my opinion there was enough space. Also, I missed the heating, it was cold when we were there.

The room was clean, the food was good. And the location was perfect.

The location of the hotel - in the very centre of Zilina and next to a mall - is good and convenient to get to anything in the city you want to. The architecture is impressive if you like certain kinds of Soviet-era brutality, and the interior still has a kind of historical charm that might appeal to certain kinds of tourists. It was also very quiet.

It was cold in the room. The blanket is small, kid' size. It could be cleaner. There were a lot of small black hairs in the bathroom. The shower was licking.

The location is excellent, very central, next to a shopping mall. The room was clean but a renovation would be more than welcome. In general, all was exactly what I expected and cannot complain. The sound isolation is rather poor - I could hear my neighbours. But the price is fair and the big CRT TV was a great nostalgic bonus. The staff was average.

My room was very dirty. It felt like just the bedsheets were changed (maybe). There was hair everywhere, it was quite disgusting. However, given that I didn't stay there for long - it was okay, but I certainly wouldn't choose the same room again.

hotel was build aroznd 70, or 80. except adding wifi, there is no change in the rooms equipement. If you like retro style go for it. Worst thing is horrible smell in the room, most probably from old carpets.

Very very old hotel. relatively clean room but carpet on the floor and it's really atrocious. Very uncomfortable beds. Clean bathroom. not too noisy. hallway with questionable stains on the floor. Elevator ditne of a goods lift. Quite well located. Pleasant and professional welcome. The price is very favorable.
