Facility itself is not much better than the average hostel.

Very good location if you are visiting Skocjan Caves, which is at walking distance from the hostel. Very good breakfast (optional) and very friendly staff. The owner/manager is an excellent chef who would prepare (I think) the best dinner in the whole area. Sufficient space for parking if you come by car.

Nothing. I would have enjoyed a red wine in the evening but the bistro wasn’t open.

The location was ideal for me. Kat the young woman working here was so helpful and friendly. The beds were so comfortable and the breakfast filling and of a high quality. I can’t fault the stay in fact I’m staying 2 more night.

A mat in front of the shower would be great.

The atmosphere at the hostel was really chilled. The self check in is so easy and in the mornings you can have coffee or breakfast in the nice garden. I even extended my stay due to the fact that I liked it so much. The area has a lot to offer. If you are going to the caves don't forget to ask for the discount voucher!

We rented a tent for the night. So can't tell about the rooms. At the tents place there was very quite and pretty clean. It has its own douche and toilet. Also there is a kind of cooking place. We didn't use. And a big fridge that can be useful.

A great location in the middle of amazing nature. Great base for hiking and exploring. Very authentic, natural with a great atmosphere and nice people. What really got us is the attitude and quality of the food. When the boss cooks, you will enjoy the food immensely. Locally sourced, simple dishes, fantastically prepared and very delicious. Overall, a very nice surprise when traveling in Slovenia, which I can warmly recommend.

It is a bit farther from Trieste than it seemed on the map, but still ok.

I loved staying in the beautiful backyard spot, surrounded by trees and nature. I also liked the rustical vibe of the whole house, as well as the convenient location and the very kind and smiley staff. We will probably visit again, when in need of a quiet restful place on our way to the seaside. Best, Eva and Matej

Super friendly and helpful staff, nice cosy place close to the caves but not too close. Loved the patio where we had both breakfast and dinner. Overall a really positive experience! Recommend downloading the TototaGO app which gives you access to really cheap (approx €2,5/person) rides to eg Divaca and Lipica. Breakfast was super tasty!

We opted for the tent rental, it was equipped with a very nice matress and a night torch, it was extremely hot so it was great we could use a pool ( small, garden option but still a nice touch), very nice interior of the hostel, option of ordering a meal ( very simple but nice), good breakfast, very friendly and helpful hosts, perfect location for Skocjan caves , great option for budget travelling
