Booking the jacuzzi would be a bit hit and miss. first come first served, not that it bothered us as the weather was awful, but we would have been unable to use it had we wanted to as one group had booked it for the whole evening/ Breakfast very uninspiring, just cereal and bread products. Also dining room is too small for the amount of guests, felt very claustrophobic

Location was ok for an overnight stay, but is a bit out of the way for a longer stay. Room was pleasant

People was abit noisy next to us but wasn't overly bad. My other half wish there was cooked food but other then that it was all lovely.

The hot tub was amazing! Hourly time slots was a good idea however I could of stay longer then an hour in it but was aloud to use again if wanted too. But used the sauna so got my feels of using both. With having a knee damage this was so relaxing Room was lovely wish was abit bigger but was nice, couldn't understand how to work the bath but was so nice to be able to lay in a big bath that don't have that at home. It's not far from the town centre so that was really good. And shops not far down from it too, about 10 mins walk down to shops so really good location. Me and my other half had a lovely time just what we needed 🫠

Good beds, the mattresses were ok for my family, but I found them quite soft. Maybe this will be changed in future. There is a British breakfast in terms of bread / toast (admittedly, in the UK you wouldn't expect bread to be firm to the bite or comparable to German bread ;-).

Authentic British accommodation with many beautiful details and feel-good character, very friendly operator. Well organised with key safe. A 35-minute walk from the centre, ... sea view from the first floor. Parking for guests.

Nice and quiet, and for the first time sleep, 15hrs was so tired, love this place, I will book again for this weekend. If you need a rest and relax just stay here, nice, quiet, tranquil place ❤️

No cheese or ham at breakfast as described. I had already bought cheese so shared with other guests. Not what I paid for sadly 😕

Superb room and facilities. Very clean. Lovely little retreat. Hot tub gorgeous but need to book a slot. We were lucky to book what suit us. Super clean house 100 percent loved that. No host but didn't matter. Home from home for us. Xxx

The retreat was excellent and we fell in love with the house and how well run it was. We loved that we could hang out in the eating bit or the garden and the hot tub was the best! Very quiet, which we loved, and very clean and just really worked for us.

North rise is in a beautiful place with lots of beautiful walks, North rise is spacious, clean and has wonderful facilities. We used the hot tub and sauna which was amazing. We would definitely be staying here again and have recommended it do several friends already

Nothing we didn’t like but the hot tub and the sauna wasn’t working as well as it could have.

We loved the cleanliness of the property and the very comfy bed. The staff, Darren especially, super friendly, very welcoming and easily approachable.

A very well kept property. Room was clean and offered all I needed for a comfortable nights stay. Enjoyed eating my shop bought dinner in the lovely garden, as the weather was good. Although I had to leave very early in the morning and couldn't make use of the breakfast, it would have been a lovely touch if I had the time to stay longer.
