Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomEnsuite felt a little cramped. Creaky wobbly chair in the room and a very creaky floor above which wasn't great when someone was up and walking about after 5am. Felt a little nippy in the evening as the heating had not been turned on, but it was nice and warm the following morning. I realised it's a little too out of the way from the city centre for my liking with nothing of interest within walking distance.
Owner was very pleasant and helpful after I had arrived sooner than expected and hadn't received my check in email from booking.com yet. Found the room to be a decent size and fairly clean. Bed was comfortable. Good pressure in the ensuite shower. TV had freeview and decent signal for what I flicked through. Signal for WiFi and mobile data was excellent. Shared self service kitchen and breakfast dining area, which could be nice for socialising as a lone traveller. Shop just over the road and a large supermarket 5 minute drive away.
