The room had a very strong smell of cigarettes even though it was prohibited to smoke in the hotel, especially in the curtains and sheets.Seemed to be short on staff.

Good bedroom, clean and organized.Good breakfast too.

Made a late booking (+/- 23:00) while I was on my way, got there at 02:40 the gate of the property was closed, fine to me, but rang for 5 long minutes no one opened the gate, then rang the Hotel and it took quite some times before the night receptionist picked up my call. When I told him about it he just told me the bell must broken, no apology whatsoever…

- Location - Despite everything, the night receptionist was competent, he expected me, dealt swiftly with the check-in and gave me a thorough briefing brief and concise (room, breakfast, C/O time…) - Copious breakfast and very efficient staff

Hotel Ibis budget Poisy Anncey & i found where to drink in town. Not a bad hotel, only a couple of problems, hotel is 20 minutes away depending on traffic from Anncey centre, only problem is taxis cost on average 24€ one way so if you don't drive watch your funds, gate to hotel close's at 2300hrs depending who is on duty. Air con is still off so rooms are like saunas if sun it up, however 10% was taken off bill which paid for breakfasts. Thank you Hotel Ibis. If your on the road side of hotel traffic is none stop on D3508 and around area, so can't leave window open which makes it a nightmare to sleep, was booked in from Friday to Friday and was going to leave but just chilled down and cracked on with things. Hotel is clean, tidy and some staff speak English other than that everything ok. Didn't try restaurant next door as read reviews and didn't like what i saw so ate in Anncey centre which again isn't cheap 10€ a pint of Guinness, Pizza on average 10 to 20€, mostly used Uber eats as deliver directly to hotel, however, best meeting them at door. Places to drink in the town Au Bureau 9.90€ Guinness opposite rail station (see photo for address), La Milton (opens Thursday to Monday) 10€ a pint of Guinness, Captain's Pub pint of Guinness 9.90€ but good music and boss pint, both in old town, although you have to wait to sit down, all 3 are in walking distance and good for people watching 8/10 scored.

The air conditioning was not working, so it was hard to sleep at night. However, they warned us about this fact days ahead and offered us a 10% refund, so fair enough.

The room was very new and bigger than other Ibis budget hotels.

Was happy with the hotel, I would suggest to put some beers in the vending machine, that is all! But hotel staff were nice, suggested restaurant next door and they gave me beers to go after a long drive!

We used this as a stop-off location before moving on the next day. Never stayed at an Ibis Budget, only Ibis, and wasnt expecting much. For me, was better than expected. Rooms are very clean, with everything you need for a stopover. Worth mentioning that there is a restaurant literally beside the hotel which is ideal if you want food or drink.

beware- if you follow the link to directions it will send you down a road blocked by a padlocked gate at night. after a long journey trying to find an alternate access was very frustrating. You may need to re look at the directions you provided.

Additional towels for face/hands. A small toilet kit and an hairdryer.

The overall quality/price is perfect. Room big enough, clean and equipped. Even if the lavatory and the shower are in the same room they do not affect the stay. The toilet only is separated through a specific door. To remark the lack of soap for the lavatory, even if present in the shower (that I used). There was only two big towels and there was no hairdryer.
