How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Parking seems overpriced at 22 EUR per night, but it's cool, secured and even has buckets of water to wipe your windshield after a long trip, which is a nice touch. Besides, a smell from the gym located in the same building is not something you'd like, it most probably.
The hotel is very well located minutes away from the historic downtown, has spacious common areas, and overall gave us a good "Dorint" impression. Breakfast is quite nice, coffee is fine, and there is an open terrace if you'd like to have a meal outside.

Pricy breakfast and parking. The hotel offered us underground parking for 22 euros/24hours that looked bit too much, but the nearby parkings are for 6-8 euros/ 24hours.
Tidy and comfortable. We spend one night in Dresden and the room suited us perfectly.

Breakfast hours were not what was written in the website (in Booking there were no mentions of hours). I asked for 2 single beds, got confirmation but in the end it were two single beds together. I was so tired I didn't even bother asking for another room, just turned the beds around a bit and slept anyway. Apart from that, the whole experience was pretty great.
Breakfast was amazing. I just wish the opening hours were what we read on the official website of the hotel. On the website it said 6.30am, but in reality, they opened at 7am. This meant we had only 20 minutes to eat (we had appointments early in the day), which made the experience not so great. That being said, the service AND the food were GREAT! Staff super nice and the pool/sauna, despite small, very nice. I strongly suggest the restaurant too. Decent price, pretty good meal.

Breakfast exceeded our expectations, the room was very clean and the location was very nice (10min walk to the centre). I would consider Dorint again for sure.

- A lot of children running around in the lobby and around the bar area at night - no tea or coffee available during the day anywhere in the hotel - we did not get any keys for the lockers in the spa nor any info on how to get a key, so couldn't lock our things - the pool water is quite cold - not all staff are friendly, though most are

The underground parking is 22 euro per night. There are some other (cheaper) options outside but as we were in transit with car full of suitcases we wanted to stay underground at the hotel.
We only stayed 1 night being in transit from Germany to Poland, but I must say the hotel was really nice. Comfy room, good breakfast, great location - close to old town and main attractions (15 min walk, there is also a tram stop just in front of the hotel). REWE and Aldi supermarkets are within 10 min walk as well.

The room might be a bit small for 4 people. It is a bit challenging to open our suitcase. It’s parking lot is also a bit small and the charge is expensive ( 22 euro)
The location is close to the old town. Clerk is helpful and friendly.

The room I got initially had not warm water in the bathroom, and the bathtub was not appropriately clean (e.g., there were hair visible in multiple spots). The second room I was offered was clean and had warm water. The staff were friendly and helpful, but not appropriately informed. The opening hours of the fitness and sauna I was given turned out not to be correct because of a holiday. The swimming pool is small than it appears on the pictures. The entry is paid; I would expect it to be free for hotel guests.
Very good location, walking distance to old tow, very close to a public parking with multiple EV charging stations. Comfortable (fairly hard) beds. Sauna in the basement.
