Kilauea House is set in Volcano, 18 km from Kilauea, 45 km from Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo, as well as 49 km from University of Hawaii, Hilo. Everything from the location of the B&B to the room amenities was great. The hosts Dean and Pat met us even though it was late into the evening when we arrived. Dean oriented us to the area which was very helpful giving us tips to the park. Every detail was well thought out in regards to the room comfort and the multiple breakfast choices. We would definitely stay here again when we return.

Located in Keaau, 20 km from Lava Tree State Monument, Ocean Breeze Inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Amazing location close to ocean, perfect for walking and great for day trips to most of the islands most popular attractions.

Boasting a balcony with sea views, a private beach area and water sports facilities, Ma'ukele Lodge can be found in Pahoa, close to Kaimu Beach and 21 km from Lava Tree State Monument. Raven and Mark made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed talking 'cats' and already miss her beautiful fur babies. Raven accommodated to our vegan needs for breakfast and coffee. Thank you for a memorable stay, loved our chats! Would definitely stay here again.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Coffee Garden is set in Captain Cook, 6.9 km from Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park and 7.4 km from Kealakekua Bay. We had a fantastic stay! We got welcomed with fresh papayas and avocados from the garden. The property is very nice and for us in the perfect location as we were not looking for the touristy sites. Close to fantastic snorkeling spots!

Iao Valley Inn features river views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Wailuku, 3.2 km from Iao Valley State Park. This place is simply amazing! It’s in the Iao Valley, surronded by nature. Stratetic position to reach all the spots in the island. Great hospitality, fresh fruit every morning, everithing was perfect!

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Hilo Bay Oceanfront Bed and Breakfast offers accommodation in Hilo. Free private parking is available on site. Rooms have a private bathroom. We loved our stay here! The room was spotless and Tomami cleaned it every day while we were out. Hand made breakfast was also included which we got to eat in a small breakfast nook with ocean views. This B and B was paradise.

Situated just outside of Hakalau, 20 km from Hilo, Mahana House Country Inn is a non-smoking property and features ocean views, free WiFi access, and free private parking. Simply one of the best places worldwide we ever visited. There was fresh fruit and avocado in the fridge everyday and you are welcome to stroll around on the premises and pick any of the seasonal fruits. We ate lychee e.g. directly from the tree. It's a must if you visit big island and like to be in the less crwoded countryside.

Located within 1.7 km of Rainbow Falls and 3.8 km of Lyman Museum & Mission House in Hilo, Old Hawaiian Bed and Breakfast provides accommodation with seating area. Very rich breakfast and friendly host.

Hawaiian Ohana Home ligger i Hilo, under 3 km fra Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo. Avgiftsfri privat parkering tilbys på stedet. Alle rommene har flatskjerm-TV, gratis badeprodukter og hårføner. Diana was great and very helpful The room was big, well organized with a side door to a joint veranda. She also offered us some breakfast groceries including fresh fruits from the garden trees. Above all the price was by far the best we had in ourxwhole trip in Hawaii

Situated in Kailua-Kona and only 8.9 km from Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park, Hale Hualalai features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Such sweet hosts. They are a lovely family. Also gave us a quick farm tour on our request. Rick is an amazing chef so don’t miss your breakfast here (I believe most of the ingredients come from their farm). It was nice chatting with him, he will give you good recommendations in the town. Rent a car to get around and carry a few warm clothing as it got a little cold here at night and early mornings in February.
